David Gibson currently lives in the county of Wrexham, after relocating from the beautiful Lake District. Whilst studying for an English and Creative Writing degree at Glyndwr University, Wrexham, he began writing a series of fantasy novels, entitled The Wandering Woods Series, of which Amber A Fairy Tale is his first instalment. Having two children of his own, David drew his inspiration for Amber A Fairy Tale from each of them, and originally wrote The Wandering Woods Series as bedtime stories. Much of his daughter is reflected in Amber, while his son has provided inspiration for the third book in the series, which is yet to be released. David is currently working on several novels and screen plays, alongside the next instalment in The Wandering Woods Series, in which readers can immerse themselves once again in the fantastic realm he so imaginatively creates.
