John grew up in Wrexham, north Wales and spent over 40 years working in the Financial Services sector.
In 2018, he decided that a change was needed. Enrolling as a full-time History student at Wrexham Glyndŵr University, he went on to gain a BA (Hons) degree in 2021. During his time as a student, he put time aside to draft a short story for children.” And so was born his first book
