What if you discovered magic and demons existed?
Detective Constable Sarala Widcombe’s world is shattered as she discovers Jarrod’s secret. He is a wizard, and he is fighting a never-ending battle to protect humanity.
With clashing agendas and being forced to protect Jarrod’s secret, the duo will struggle to form a team as they face danger beyond measure.
Chased by demons and humans alike they fight to stay alive, but in a battle as unequal as this, outside influences may tip the balance either way.
There are more novels in the Jarrod series, to come, but this book does not end in a cliff-hanger. The story comes to a complete and satisfying ending.
If you like Jim Butcher’s The Dresden Files and Kim Harrison’s The Hollows, you won’t be able to put down the compulsively addictive novel.
